Dear Rain- from Mahe

Dear Rain
When I woke up I saw damp puddles outside my window. I found dripping trees quite interesting. I had to wear cozy warm pants because of your cold air. I had to wear big solid boots because of the slippery floors. I also had to wear cozy socks with my solid boots.

When I go to get strawberries in my garden, the soggy wet mud sinks into my shoes. When I play on the playground the soggy bark goes squeak, squeak. When you drench down with rain my hair looks like a bird's nest. I like wearing gumboots for jumping and splashing in puddles.
